Stoneware Ramen Bowl - Satin White

If you have been searching for a ramen bowl, look no further! This bowl is hand thrown from a white cone 10 stoneware clay (Stony White by Laguna), and fired in reduction atmosphere in a gas kiln. I use a glaze from the Wedge Studio called AW White. The crystallization of the glaze during cooling gives it the satin color and surface. The bowl also comes in translucent pale gray/green color.

The bowls are dishwasher safe and food safe, but please take extra care as they are all hand-made. Washing them by hand is still the recommended cleaning option. Although I personally don’t have much concern putting these bowls in the microwave, it is typically not recommended for hand-made ceramics.
