Stoneware cup with undulating rim
* Height: 12 cm / Diameter: 11 cm / Capacity: 450 ml
The mug is hand thrown from a high iron stoneware clay and fired in a gas kiln to cone 10 (~2300F). The rim is reshaped at the leather hard stage using a shredder tool to give it an undulating effect. The bottom of the cup is taped off with a wavy design during glazing to match the rim. Please note that the the cup is roughly 3mm in thickness. Depends on the individual, it may not be suitable for hot drinks.
These mugs are dishwasher safe, but please take extra care as they are all handmade. Washing them by hand is still the best option.
